Contractor Civil Liability
Legal civil liability is insured for damages to third parties incurred by the insured, when, as owner of construction works carried out by independent contractors, perform inspection, progress control or repair work on said works.
The civil liability incurred by the insured is insured, by agreement or by contract where substitution of the original obligated contractor is stipulated, for civil liability to repair eventual and future damages, not intentional, to third parties in their persons or in their properties, for which the contractor would be responsible as the original obligor.
It is a basic condition for this insurance to take effect that the Insured, in writing, state which agreements or independent contractors are included in the coverage.
This coverage is not in the nature of a guarantee in favor of independent contractors.
